After last week's message on living the theocentric life we look at one measurement of that Christian aspiration. The Book of 1 Corinthians has some important things to say about giving to God's work, and I can almost guarantee it's not what you expect!
This week, and for the next two Sundays, we take a break from our series on Romans to take a big picture look at life. Many (most?) people go from day to day without ever thinking about how the details of their life fit together. Is there any organizing principle? This is a particularly relevant question for the Christian because the Bible says, Yes, there is. Or should be. We call it the Theocentric Life.
Our class today focuses on the division of the Kingdom. Most Christians don't know about this pivotal event which defines every event and every book for the rest of the Old Testament. This is critical information if we hope to make sense out of everything from here on!
